Financial Stocks Are Riding High On The Nasdaq-NYSE Deal (C, BAC, WFC, BCS, DB)

Banking stocks are up today, across the boards, on the new bid from Nasdaq and the IntercontinentalExchange for NYSE.

The Financial Select Sector SPDR is up nearly 1%.

Here is a roundup of the stocks that are up:

  • Bank of America up 1.35%
  • Wells Fargo up 1.51%
  • Barclays up 3.36%
  • Goldman Sachs up 1.31%
  • Deutsche Bank up 2.39%

Deutsche Borse is down over 1% after being outbid for NYSE.

Stocks are rallying today on a boost from the stronger-than-expected jobs report.
